Amplify + JD put fans center stage with the ‘Greatest Walkout’ experience.
JD wanted to celebrate its partnership with UFC Fight Night at the O2 Arena in a way that would excite fans, amplify the brand presence, and create memorable experiences. The goal was to engage UFC fans directly, giving them a sense of being part of the action, while supporting JD’s broader media takeover over fight weekend.
Youth culture thrives on authentic moments of self-expression. Fans don’t just want to watch the action, they want to feel like the main character in their own story.
The idea was to then immerse fans in the UFC experience, replicating the anticipation and adrenaline of a fighter’s walkout. We wanted to provide shareable, personalized content to fuel conversation and social engagement, and break down traditional barriers between fans and fighters, creating a highly interactive, memorable activation.
The “Greatest Walkout” experience at Westfield Stratford let fans step into a UFC fighter’s shoes. Guests selected their anthem and walked through a fully immersive tunnel with bodyguards, LED lighting, and surging music.
At the end, they were bathed in light and haze while a steady cam captured their final pose. A QR code let them download their personalized video to share on social media, with a chance to win Fight Night tickets.
