The Shoreditch-based independent shop says that 2022 was its biggest year yet in terms of creativity, culture and commercially as a business on a global level.

Amplify reported 36 new client wins including Apple, Activision, Genesis, Paramount Pictures, Louis Vuitton, Polestar, Santander, Lululemon, Warner Bros and Vice. It says that this amounts to turnover of £52.2m, up by 60% with a total value of new client/new business wins in 2022 of £13.2m.

The agency's creative highlights for 2022 include: "Nike SNKRS Day" content production; Lego "Fly Away Isles" community engagement; Dr. Martens' "Tough As You" campaign and Activision's "Call of Duty, Modern Warfare II" live-action anamorphic billboards.

Amplify also prides itself on not making any redundancies over the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022). It now has 195 staff members (up 28%, from 152 in 2021) across its offices around the world – London, Los Angeles and Sydney.

The agency has been developing policies to keep staff happy at work with initiatives such as increasing holiday allowances and partnering with Health Assured to run a confidential support line for employees and their immediate family.

Judges were impressed by Amplify's "impressive growth, wins and work". Another said it was a "well-celebrated agency" that produced innovative work with big brands.
