Group Operations Director

Group Operations Director

This role will be based on our Shoreditch office at least 3 days a week.

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Group Operations Director to help shape the next chapter of growth across Amplify, Seed and Wonder. This is a rare opportunity to build the operational foundations of a growing creative group, turning ambition into action and creating the infrastructure that will enable our agencies to thrive. Reporting to the Group CFO, you’ll take on a newly created role with real scope to make a difference, tackling complex challenges, unlocking opportunities and turning Group priorities into practical, scalable solutions.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, sees opportunity where others see complexity, and has the drive to make things happen. You’ll bring clarity to the unclear, create momentum where there’s no established roadmap, and turn big-picture thinking into tangible results. With significant autonomy and no established Operations team to inherit, you’ll have the freedom to challenge the status quo, shape how we work and build solutions that genuinely move the business forward.

Working across Finance, Commercial, People & Culture, Resourcing, IT and local leadership teams, you’ll connect the dots across our agencies, bringing people together to solve problems, simplify complexity and build smarter ways of working. This is your chance to leave a lasting mark on how a dynamic, multi-agency creative group operates, building not just the infrastructure for our next stage of growth, but the foundations for what comes next.

You’ll identify opportunities to improve how our three agencies work together, creating shared infrastructure, processes and operating rhythms that drive efficiency, visibility and consistency without losing what makes each business unique. From improving cross-Group resourcing and reporting to clarifying ownership, streamlining workflows and tackling inefficiencies, you’ll bring structure to complexity and ensure the right things happen, with clear plans, accountability and measurable outcomes.

Systems, technology and AI will be a significant part of your remit. You’ll own the operational development and roll-out of Group tools, translating business requirements into clear specifications and working with internal stakeholders, system providers and external partners to deliver solutions. This includes developing our project planning infrastructure across budgeting, resource planning, utilisation and management reporting; improving Paprika functionality, training and adoption; and coordinating systems migrations and wider technology projects. You’ll also drive practical applications of AI and automation across the Group, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, improve processes and make information more accessible. By connecting expertise across Amplify, Seed and Wonder, you’ll help turn individual initiatives into solutions that can be tested, implemented and scaled, with appropriate governance and ownership.

We're interested in hearing from a hands-on operator who has significant experience delivering complex operational, transformation or business improvement projects in a fast-moving organisation. Someone who is not scared to take ownership of challenges that cross teams or businesses, research unfamiliar areas, bring together the right expertise and turn recommendations into implemented, sustainable solutions. You’ll e comfortable overseeing roll-outs, training, communication and adoption, ensuring new processes deliver real results rather than simply existing on paper. With demonstrated experience navigating uncertainty, challenging the status quo, influencing stakeholders at every level and making progress without waiting for perfect information.

Above all, we're looking for someone with positive energy, who combines strategic thinking with a practical, delivery-focused mindset, taking initiative, overcoming obstacles and translating complexity into action, accountability and results.
