FAIRE, the online B2B retail platform, wanted to create an ephemeral brand experience to engage French retail communities, brands and artisans, to raise audience awareness, increase brand affinity and visibility in the media and social
Networks.

Insight + Strategy

FAIRE is perceived as an American e-commerce platform by the local trade communities and following the brand's European expansion, it was important to demonstrate the commitment that FAIRE brings to supporting French independent retailers and to position it as a local platform, offering a large number of local brands and products.

Coinciding with both Paris Design Week and the Maison&Objets show, we wanted to create an authentic and elegant experience, worthy of the brand's image, taking inspiration from the art of living and French shopping streets, inviting local retailers and artisans passing through the capital to discover new brands and products.

Solution

Atelier Faire

We transformed an existing retail space into a lively, modern shopping street, drawing inspiration from the spirit of what makes French shopping so distinct. A pop-up filled with shops completely familiar to local visitors, while surprising and delighting them with a showcase of amazing products available through the FAIRE platform. Including independent French and European brands that they may not have heard of until now.

Inside the pop-up, we created four distinct stores, each with its elegant and unique design, linked to one of Faire's merchandising categories…

  • The Boutique: For clothing, accessories and jewelry
  • La Parfumerie: For beauty, perfume and ambient scents
  • The House: Including decoration, tableware, furniture and stationery
  • The Café: Offering food and drinks, as well as a café and space for meetings and presentations

Visitors were invited to move freely around the space, find their next bestsellers and meet other entrepreneurs. We also hosted a program of events, including workshops, talks from e-commerce experts and a speed dating evening to help brands and retailers create new contacts.
