Operations Manager, Talent & Resource

THE ROLE

Your role as Operations Manager, Talent & Resource Manager will be to support the identification, screening, onboarding, and utilization of talent for the three key output departments of the agency (creative, strategy and production). You’ll work closely with our SVP of Operations, Partners and departmental leadership to manage the flow of our freelance and full time workforce from hire to project placement. You’ll manage search tools and outside recruiters, as well as tapping the internal agency network to build a stable book of talent. And you will also play a pivotal role in the operations team, helping to shape our resourcing processes through your work to support the wider agency team.

THE ROLE:

Talent Acquisition

  • Supporting with the administrative requirements of finding, interviewing and recording freelancers
  • Coordination of interview process as delegated to you by SVP of Operations, Partners and Heads of Department including interview calendar set ups, liaison with recruiters/ candidates etc
  • Manage the administration of the Amplify US black book, ensuring it is up to date and reflective of our freelance database and network, keeping in touch to sense check ongoing availabilities
  • Managing the contracting process for all new starters (freelance, FTC, permanent) and contract extensions/ discontinuation and leaver process including contract approval forms, documentation updates, updating relevant teams
  • Support with relevant documentation for the hiring process as delegated by SVP of Operations, Partners and Heads of Department
  • Support with welcoming and onboarding new starters into the team (virtually and in person in Los Angeles and New York)

Operations/Resource Management

  • Lead on the resourcing management for all departments including but not limited to contracting freelancers, creating bookings on our scheduling tools, cross checking bookings with budgets to ensure commercial consistency and maintaining our freelancer tracker
  • Support the SVP of Operations, Partners and Heads of Department with any wider operational initiatives and processes that may be rolled out to improve the operational running of the business as it grows
  • Liaise with the UK operations team on a regular basis to help maximise the use of internal resources across both markets
  • Provide general administrative support to the SVP of Operations, Partners and Heads of Department as required

The salary range for this role is between $80k and $120k, depending on experience.
