Accounts Payable Assistant

THE TEAM

This role sits within the Finance team which is the central point for all that happens at Amplify, involved in all projects from planning to fruition, the team forms an integral part of the management and operations of the business and has direct links to all other departments within Amplify.

The Accounts Payable Assistant is a crucial role within the finance team ensuring all supplier costs are authorised, correctly captured and paid timeously. The role is a direct link between the finance team and the production teams and other cost centres. You will be required to engage with colleagues across all departments within the organisation on a day to day basis.

This role will report to the Head of Accounts Payable with a dotted line to the Group Accountant and Financial Controller, you’ll be part of a team of 11 individuals who all work closely together covering various elements and workstreams of the Finance Department.

Who we're looking for:

• Has experience in a similar role - this is at least your second finance role.
• Has a foundation finance qualification (AAT for example)
• Systems savvy and well versed on Excel and accounting software e.g. Procim & Xero (the latter two can be taught)
• Worked in media finance or an agency environment
• Likes to stay informed with changes to accounting standards and tax standards
• A self-starter, self-motivator and proactive
• Are able to work autonomously and within a team
• Organised and a multi-tasker with strong prioritisation skills
• Keen to be part of a company and grow with it
