At one of the most important festivals of creativity in the world, Pinterest asked Amplify to show their audience how they were different.

Making its IRL return in 2022, the Cannes Lions Festival was another jam-packed event full of networking, lectures, ceremonies, conversation and parties. And yet, for all the noise it still lacked a place for attendees to take a step back and express the creativity they were in Cannes to celebrate.
Enter Pinterest and its calming beach retreat, where guests could find a safe and positive space to rejuvenate, get inspired and get creative - all whilst seeing how Pinterest is creating a platform providing calm and inclusivity amongst the noise and anxiety of the internet and its tech peers.
It’s Different Here.
Guests arriving at Pinterest Beach were greeted with a reminder of why the internet can be such an anxious environment. After walking through a tunnel filled with the words of online negativity, they emerged into a bright, bold space alive with positive energy and activity.
Surrounding a courtyard oasis were a series of activations, each designed to highlight what makes Pinterest different. The Pinterest Parlour allowed people to get a makeover based on Pinterest Predicts trends from 2022 - with world-renowned Pinterest Creators on hand to provide hair styling, manicures and real micro tattoos.
Guests could also instantly tap into the Idea Pin Studio, surrounding themselves with the inspiration to try something new and take part in a variety of programmed workshops, from sneaker customisation to blind drawing classes.
