For the seventh year Amplify leverage Sony's UEFA Champion's League sponsorship, bringing PlayStation and fans together for the shared love of the game
For the past four years Amplify have managed Sony’s Champions League presence at the Champions Festival, taking us around Europe hitting a number of final host cities including Lisbon, Madrid, Munich and London.
There has been a mixture of approaches to celebrate Sony's relationship with the beautiful game including innovative exclusive tech and gaming experiences and unique design concepts.
Over the years the experiences have always leveraged a number of passion points from the game, whether it be recreating a 3D football stadium in Hyde Park, kitting out bespoke shipping containers in the docks of Stratford or embracing the ‘colour of football’ in Munich. One unforgettable moment involved the live streaming of the Champions League Final to over 65k people within the iconic Olympia Park in Munich after a series of music gigs including headliner Aloe Blacc.
No Champions League experience would be complete without talent and year on year footballs elite have graced the experience with everyone from Gareth Bale to Jens Lehmann driving the PlayStation communications team’s PR and social media plans resulting in media coverage that has reached more than 20m people.
