Amplify gave the media preview at Gamescom the signature PlayStation twist, with key European media and influencers provided a hands-on experience of forthcoming titles, with a few surprise announcements and guests along the way.

Over 800 media, including more than 20 live broadcasters, were given a unique preview of PlayStation's activity, as the brand set out its stall for the year ahead. The event was specifically designed to make it easy to amplify the key messages and announcements, with a focus on 3D Gaming and Move.

Andrew House, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, gave an interactive key note presentation, followed by developer led demos of hero software, including The Fight, TV Superstars, Sorcery, Killzone 3, Virtua Tennis, Eyepet, Sports Champions and Assassins Creed.
