PlayStation Eyepet: Seeing is believing

In the lead up to Christmas Amplify worked with PlayStation UK to create an experience that brought to life the magic of the revolutionary new EyePet title; which allows users to create and play with their own virtual pet via augmented reality.
With the requirement to reach areas with high family footfall we created a bespoke stand that captured consumers' attention wherever it went. 3D walls, faux grass flooring and dressing-up props, paired with the game's augmented reality, meant children were able to feel truly part of the action. Whether they were giving their EyePet a psychedelic new haircut, or watching their own drawing come to life on screen, a fun and engaging experience was had by all.
Over the three-week tour visiting eight destinations we created over 30,000 EyePet fans. Post-campaign PlayStation met their objective of 100,000 pre-Christmas sales.
