Amplify helps Eurostar liven up the departure lounge...

Challenge

Travellers at the start of their journeys often need a bit of a lift. Amplify were challenged to change perceptions of the weary traveller and to liven up the departure lounge, connecting with Eurostar customers and encouraging them to share their experiences.

Insight

The departure lounge is synonymous with waiting, queues and boredom.

Strategy

We saw an opportunity to entertain and engage Eurostar customers at the start of their exciting journeys, when they needed a lift most.

Solution

All Aboard

Amplify created a chance for travellers to get excited about their destinations. Giant, oversized cameras suddenly appeared in departure halls in London, Paris and Brussels. Travellers then got the chance to snap themselves in destinations they were yet to reach, and more importantly to share with those they loved most via Facebook, Twitter and email.
