Soul Jazz Records started out in the 1990s, releasing compilation albums of predominantly black music, including reggae, soul, ska, dub and jazz.
The label has since expanded its style, and has released further compilations of post-punk, electronica and world music, alongside a number of artist studio albums and singles.
Amplify have worked with the Soul Jazz Sound System on a number of events and are always guaranteed to pull a few gems out of their bag, this set was recorded live at the Four Roses Speakeasy event at The Britannia on 24th July.
